Empower Network Marketing Strategy – Day 2 – What To Write About
Restored from the Empower Network archive (2011–2017), lightly edited to meet our current advertising standards. Views are the original author’s.
The first thing that we need to make sure when promoting a blog is to blog daily. And when I say to blog I mean writing valuable content to our determined audience. So today I am going to talk about what to write about and what are the things that we should avoid.
There are a lot of people out there that are going to tell you that you should do keyword research before you write your post, and while that is a good idea for the most part, and I will show you in my next post how to do just that, the truth is that as long as you write valuable, targeted content you will do just fine.
What is valuable, targeted content?
Well, if you decided that you are going to write about “Empower Network Marketing Strategy” and your audience is expecting tips, strategies and tools for marketing Empower Network, it would be not only not targeted but also not valuable for them if you write about your cat’s fur. I know that is a far fetched example but I hope you got the point. The closer your content is to your audience expectations the better you will rank.
Remember that the whole idea of having a blog is to give valuable information, not to sell anything. Believe me when I tell you that you can spend years writing sale pitches and not make a penny. As soon as your target audience see that you are trying to take their money away they will no longer visit your site. Solve their problems, tell them how to do the things they want to learn how to do. For me in this article is to show you what to write about and how to get that info.
Once you get the point that you need to write content to help your audience you need to find a source. Most times this is going to be your own experience.
However, the most common concern that I get from people who are just starting is I have nothing to share. Well, that is absolutely not true. There are two solutions to that problem.
1. You have nothing to share because you are targeting a niche you don’t have any experience in. Preferably try to market something you like and have knowledge of.
2. HOWEVER, if you for example want to write something about an internet marketing topic because you want to get into internet marketing, you need to write about what you are currently learning and how it is working for you, and NEVER LIE. Also you can simple find articles about the same topic and write your own version of them. One of my favorite sources is EzineArticles.com
Remember we all started somewhere and unless you start doing it yourself you are not going to get the knowledge to write about your own experiences. Learn from others and write about it. The most important part of blogging is doing so consistently day in and day out and you WILL see the traffic coming to your site and with a bit of marketing ingenuity you will be able convert that traffic into cash in your pocket.
Speaking of marketing ingenuity. Empower Network blogs are set up in a way that as long as you get the traffic to you site it will convert into leads and money. At least that is the premise and that is what I am trying to prove with this 30-day marketing strategy test.
