K, So on to the training…..
There is specific training I will give You on the Word press Blog
Whether You actually Listen and Apply will be up to You…..

So 1st things first…….
Did You go through the Fast start trainings? if not Go here and Listen again it always helps….. /Members/fast_start.php
Now as far as Your Back office Word Press here are some Essentials:
First off You must EXIT easy mode so we can change a few simple settings to make the blog more efficient….So do that Now. (Upper right corner switches back and forth in and out of easy mode)
Secondly……Click Settings….(on the Side) this will open more menu choices (under settings) Click Privacy……Select Allow Search engines to index this site….!!!
The MAKE SURE TO CLICK SAVE CHANGES……double check this!
Third…….In the menu again click Appearance
click on home photo…..
From there You can upload a photo of your choice to replace David and his wife
(top of blog)
Your Photo must be from Your computer and of a certain size…. So if you don’t know how to re-size photo from computer………..
GOOGLE IT and figure this out or it will look Stupid. You can also play around with the background color of Your blogs…..to look different!
Fourthly…..Go back into EASY MODE….. Once Your in easy mode…..Go to Profile…. Scroll down to about yourself and come up with a snazzy blurb about yourself which will show up on the bottom of every post You make…..
Fifth……Click New Post…….Enter a title….Write Your first article…….Scroll down a little…… click in the discussion field…..make sure allow comments and allow trackbacks are clicked Now scroll down a little further to categories…..and if Your first post is about empower network or you make future posts about empower network leave that box clicked BUT if it is a different category name the category what You want but be VAGUE like if You are writing an article about: How to dress Your teenage daughter appropriately You would name the category something like FASHION, so that You can write other articles that will go in that category… THEN MAKE SURE YOU HIT PUBLISH…..
Congratulations on Your first Post…..
Side Note of what to write about…..
It really doesn’t matter…..focus on Your Life and what You love to talk about whether it be the economy, Your job, specific hobbies, fishing, restaurants, how to’s do (anything), Love relationships, sports, the world, the bible, hope, raising kids, having fun……you get the idea….
NOW once you find a category and get your first post in that category…. Find out more about that subject…..from google……..While “surfing the web for more info on this specific subject your writing about DON’T FORGET:
PRESS THIS: Exit easy mode and under tools drag (by clicking and holding) it up to your browser bar and let go….it will automatically go on your browser… THIS TOOL ROCKS!
As Your searching the web for more ideas to write about under the category that YOU came up with:
You can highlight pieces of info (say on someone’s blog or website) then click the press this icon in your browser….and it brings up an EN window and automatically starts a new post for You!
You can save as a draft so you can add to it later….Retitle when your ready to publish…..leave the link that Empower automatically puts in Your post….this is good for You….
