Can You Still Provide the Means for Your Spouse After the Military?

Have I knocked you in your seat yet? Here is a question I have herd.

“Will my wife need a job when I get out?”

Something I need to say is what I believe before I say the answer. I believe that I should provide for my family. I don’t want my wife working unless she chooses to. I would rather have her at home raising the kids and not preschool teachers.

Here is the kicker for me however. I also want to be home raising and spending time with my family. Life is to short to spend 40 hours of work a week for 20 or more years. Let me give you a BIG NUMBER…40 hours a week, 4 weeks in a month, 12 months a year, 20 years maybe to retirement. That is 192,000 hours or 8000 days away from my family. No..My family deserves more time with me than that…Honestly that’s bull shit thinking we have to be away that long..and I did average numbers. Keep Scrolling.

The Answer..

You don’t have a clue unless you control the other side of the door.

How do you know whats on the other side? Hope for the best, prepare for the worst? No. The worst is you can be homeless and I have seen that to. It’s not pretty.

Let’s sit back at the dinner table. Can you imagine the conversation of telling your wife (or spouse) that you cannot find the income to keep them at home? What feelings would you have when you have to speak those words. You are going to feel less as a person. Whats the options?

Finding a really good paying job, how hard is that?

Here is my opinion on those answers.

How about starting your own business? Hmm that’s an idea but where to start? To start a business you will need a product, a building, customers, and start up costs… EXPENSIVE!

What about online. What will you have to do? The video I have explains it but, Ill explain some. If you want to start online by yourself this is what you need.
