One thing that everyone who has every started a home business has done is listen to real audio
by the gurus. Whether you’ve sold Amway or other products you’ve probably bought the tapes and listened to and eaten up every single word that these gurus have promised in these real audio recordings.
Yes they’re great, but I’m here to tell you that they tend to sound pretty ingenuine at times. You don’t get to really know the person you’re listening to, and the real audio starts to sound pretty fake real fast.

A little back story on me and my experiences with this kind of

My parents sold Amway for years, and when they first started every car ride was filled with those tapes of the real audio from the Amway gurus who are making millions a year selling these products.
Yes the promise of riches and a lifestyle everyone envies is great, but after hearing the same thing over and over again this real audio got boring and I didn’t want to listen to it anymore.
After a while neither did my parents because they are no longer selling these products as intensively as they did.
So much for the real audio being real, right?
In my mind for it to feel like truly real audio, it needs to relate to me and tell a really personal story. I need to feel like I’m truly getting to know the person and their own back story and feel like they’re sitting in the room or the car with me.
Now that’s real audio folks.
Even before Empower Network was launched Dave Wood and Dave Sharp started their weekly Monday conference calls (email or call us if you want the number and we’ll give you a personal invitation), and after listening to them I can tell you that they’ve truly nailed down what real audio is all about.
Before they even get near any kind of training whatsoever they’re introducing themselves and telling stories of their own struggles, whether it was Dave Wood living in a van with his wife or Dave Sharp’s struggle with alcohol and drug addiction while swinging a hammer on a construction site in Florida for years.
Now I don’t know about you, but when I hear someone getting metaphorically naked like that to me and spilling their heart out about what they did to get to where they are now, it takes real audio to a whole new level for me.
Why just the other day I was listening to real audio and heard Dave Sharp talk about a car wreck his girlfriend was in with his daughter. The way he related that story to the point of unity in business that they were talking about in the call that week was absolutely amazing and made them seem like a friend and someone I wanted to reach out to more than ever.
The crazy thing? That was the SECOND TIME I’d listened to that particular
real audio
.
