Affiliate Marketing Expectations

CJ Goodson

G’day Everyone

Let me ask you a question, are your affiliate marketing expectations; Good or Bad?

A lot of people have different affiliate marketing expectations

I know I did when I first heard about it, and believe it or not that’s quite normal.

Some will say it doesn’t work, it’s a scam pure and simple, others will say it’s an excellent method of gaining your freedom from the hum drum living of everyday life, yet others will tell you it’s the quickest way to make a million dollars overnight, then some may advise you that it’s something you must do, to become a complete person. OK, I’m going a bit far with that last one, but I’m sure you get what I mean.

As human beings it is normal for us to take what a friend tells us as the truth, and I have even seen cases of people defending the word of a friend, to the point where physical violence ensued, without actually knowing if what was said, was in fact true. I wonder how many of us, actually form our own affiliate marketing expectations from the facts, rather than a friends opinion or belief.

As we know in the reality of life, sometimes, what we expect can be miles away from what we receive, or what we find to be true, including our affiliate marketing expectations. Want proof? Have you, or do you, know someone who has ever had a partner, they thought was “The One” only to find that, in reality, the person actually made an empty gum-boot seem like a reasonable intelligent being, and eventually they were thankful they dodged that bullet? Yep me too!

If you take a look at some of the adverts for products from some of the people on-line involved with affiliate marketing, you could quite reasonably hold the affiliate marketing expectations that it is as easy as putting up a website, buying a product and bingo, you will become a millionaire overnight, without having to lift a finger. Others will tell you that the way to success is to follow this all knowing and mighty guru who will lead you to the promised land of wealth and freedom.

I believe the reason for this is that, on a subconscious level, we all have a longing to be better than we are now, to better our situation in life, for us and for our loved ones. Bearing that in mind, it is no wonder that peoples, affiliate marketing expectations are often confused and short lived, or met with scepticism and doubt.

As far as affiliate marketing goes, the real truth is that , it is real, it is a proven method of earning an income on-line, and a person can make a living and build a future with it, but like anything worthwhile, it does take time, work and commitment, for it to live up to the affiliate marketing expectations that a lot of people have.

If you know and understand this, then any affiliate marketing expectations you may have, can quite reasonably be called realistic ones, if you know that you will have to educate yourself, and fully comprehend what it is, that will be required of you before you begin, then your affiliate marketing expectations, are of the right sort.

If you follow proven systems, taught by genuine mentors, who have done what they ask of you, and can prove that too you, then your affiliate marketing expectations could realistically, give you everything you ever wanted.
