The BadAss Button
There are huge benefits of attending Empower Network events and the Chicago “Get Money” event was no different. At the event we got a real treat – it’s called the BadAss Button.
What is the BadAss Button
Basically, the BadAss Button is a tab on your blog that anyone can click on and share your content on social media but especially on Facebook where up until the tool we had called Social Media Bar was impossible to do as Facebook just would not let you post Empower links or URLS. That meant no posting of lead capture pages, website URL’s or blog posts. All very silly and futile.
If you are brand new to Empower Network and did not know about this don’t worry we have your back covered.
Sharing Your Empower Network Blog Posts with the BadAss Button
With the addition of a tiny little bit of HTML code to your Empower Network Blog, you can now have anyone visiting your site share your content easily on Facebook with no hassle.
Officially, the BadAss Button is a wordpress plugin so you can download it and instal it on any wordpress website but as we can’t instal plugins on the Empower Network website, all you need to do have the button come up on all your blog posts is to add it to just one blog post.
The great news is that you don’t have to do ANYTHING. It’s all done for you. Just carry on blogging and you will see this little baby appear on your blog posts! Awesome.
When you view your post now you will see a BadAss Button at the top of your blog on the right hand side – see picture

Using the BadAss Button to share Empower URL’s
You can also use the BadAss Button to share any of the Empower Network Website URL’s by going to and clicking on the tab that says “create link manually”
You will then see a page appear where you can complete all the required information.
This is just like social media bar that you may have already been using.
We created one today to share the Empower Network Blog “From Quitting Smoking to Forming Alliances – Exactly Why These Events are Different.
We just grabbed that long url you get and posted it into the form you will find at BadAss Button and then you can give it a name, add a picture and hey presto …

From the BadAss Button site you can then share on social media directly or just use the old fashioned posting of the newly created url. It really is that simple!
You basically use the BadAss Button in the same way – add the url you want to share, the title of the page, description of the page, add an image url and it will create you a unique url you can use to share on social media (including Facebook)
