A diet plan on its own is not enough, she argues, because weight carries emotion and whatever you think about your own body while following the plan will quietly undo it. She asks you to stop and notice how you feel when you think about your weight, and to treat that answer as part of the problem.
That argument runs through the health posts, which all come from the same place: a physician she heard speak who defines healing as supporting the body's normal biology, which she notes sounds so obvious it is strange it counts as an alternative position at all.
On effort she is blunt. A commitment with no action behind it was pointless from the moment you made it, and a shortage of money is not the obstacle most people believe it to be.
