It can be a harsh realization that everyone you discuss an idea with may not decide to go with your idea.  This fear of rejection keeps many people away from their goals and dreams!  Since the answer to an unasked question is always “no”,  I encourage you to get out of your comfort zone and at least ask.  If they say no, respect their decision and don’t be a pest.  If you are you may learn the lesson this guy did!
