I see so many people who start a business or get involved in business and somehow just magically they think that just because others are having success they are going to be able to snap their fingers and magically know the “secret to winning”.

I know that we have all heard this saying before, “Start thinking smarter, not harder”, and this is true to an extent but hard work and a burning desire to win is ultimately what you need.

The secret to winning is so simplistic it’s not funny, but so many people just don’t understand that hard work will win every time.

• By working hard you have just beat 50% of the people in America.
• You’ll beat another 40% by being a person of honesty and integrity and standing for something.
• The last 10% is an all out dogfight in the free enterprise system.

So once you beat out the 90%, which will take hard work, the last 10% are people just like you and me that have a burning desire to win and are accomplishing their goals.

Reevaluating Your Secret To Winning

If you haven’t won at this point in your life, it’s time to wake up and realize that nobody’s going to strike oil in your backyard, or knock on your front door and say, “Here’s your opportunity, you are now the President”, that kind of stuff just doesn’t happen.

You’ve got to change; you’ve got to do something different from what you’ve done in the past.

Go look in the mirror and think about the past five or six years.  I can promise that if you don’t make a change in your life the next five or six years are going to be exactly the same.

Now that’s depressing!
