Top 5 Blog Content Creation Tips

Here Are Some Blog Content Creation Tips.
Become a Web Gemologist.
What this means is you can take some great links or articles or other blog posts that you may read on other sites that you think your audience would be enlightened by reading. You can bring them together under your blog umbrella.
You can say things like, “I recently read a great blog post by So-and-So about Such-and-Such” (make sure that you credit the source). But what you can do, is you can start to become a hub of information so people start to rely on you and go to you as the authority.
Create Community.
By this I mean collaborate content wise. This can mean interviewing customers saying, “We love the work that we’ve done with you and we’d like to feature you. Would you like to be famous on our blog?” Then when they say YES! You then send them interview questions that they fill out the answers to and VOILA! You have content.
You can also interview employees, do case studies, just try to think about things where you’re getting really creative.
Don’t Write Everything.
Don’t feel like all of the social media content has to be personally written by you or your organization. Using that Web Gemologist concept really helps bring it all together.
Embrace the 3 V’s of Social Media Marketing.
Make sure your content shares your VALUE, VALUES, and has a natural VOICE, your voice.
Here’s a Final Blog Content Creation Tip.
Recycle Content.
Recycling is not only good for the planet, but it can be really great for your blog too. It’s so simple to re-purpose content like your e-Newsletter. Let’s say you spent hours putting your newsletter content together to send out to your subscribers. What you can do is you can take that content and re-purpose it as separate blog posts, modified a little bit to sound natural and conversational. As long as it’s your own content don’t be too concerned about making too many changes, just make sure that it flows and makes sense as you read it.
Often frequently asked questions that say you get on the phone or are asked online, those can also become blog posts.
Things like news. Let’s say you had a great press release that came out. You can do a blog post that said, “Recently we had blah-blah-blah happen”, and you can give some highlights from that press release and link back to the press release on your website.
Just make sure that when you re-purposing that you are not literally copying and pasting, but you are re-purposing or recycling that content into a more appropriate blog conversational tone, because when we blog we tend to write more in how we talk.
Blogs are facts married with opinion. Think of yourself as a content aggregator. Your posts will often link to other sites with short snippet of commentary with what you like, dislike, agree, or disagree with about it.
Make Sure Your Blog Content is Valuable and Interesting.
Blogging is a web marketing tool that can boost your business if you have the right strategy in place. Managing your blog can become an easy task and exciting part of your day to day marketing. Use your blog as a tool to post valuable information, opinions, thoughts, news, links and expertise and don’t forget to have fun in the process. When you enjoy blogging, this will come through to your readers.
