Daegan Smith’s Easy Tracker Pro at EasyTrackerPro.com was the tracking solution I started using but I changed my mind and I suggest you do too. He put this together with Tribe Pro’s Ronnie Gaunty and the Tribe Pro team run the program.
Since Deagan did a joint venture with it, I thought it was going to be a smashing program. It was better than hypertracker.
I was using hypertracker, which is an ok tracking solution. I think it leaves a lot to be desired but it works. One of the things I don’t like, there are no training videos on how to use the thing. They have written instructions that kinda give you the idea of whats going on but I’m a video tutorial kinda person. Also, there are links all over to click on and try to figure out, its very confusing.

Why I decided to no longer use easytracker pro.
First off, the affiliate program is broke. Some of my sales kept coming through as 0′s but they told me they were tracking all sales that came through paypal. So I had to manually keep track of the sales myself to see what money I made and hoped to get paid the right amount.
The next thing, I had a hard time getting someone to get the problem fixed. They said it was a programmer issue and couldn’t get them to fix it. This is when I found out Daegan wasn’t really involved in the program. I’m not sure what his role was but it was minimal it seems.
They changed their paypal account and somehow it jacked up things and their plugin (which is the whole site) broke. They have been trying to get it fixed. I don’t know why but a lot of the conversions were going to the default campaign.
When I contacted customer service, they were great to work with but the website just kinda crashed. I couldn’t login, and I was supposed to get 2 months free for my trouble but then it wouldn’t let me login again after 30 days.
My Partner Brent and another guy that was using it experienced problems with tracking and other issues.
They dropped the program and picked up this link tracking solution. They told me about and I was looking at it. It has way more features like using your own domain name, search feature to search urls and campaigns, and a A/B split test. I just got down messing with Google analytics A/B test and it worked like crap. It wont track conversions.
I just watched the walk through video that shows they even have a wordpress plugin.
I saw Mike Filsaime has a testimonial on the page and that carries a lot of weight for me. He is a huge internet marketer FYI.
Their base price is cheaper than easytrackerpro’s and hypertracker’s. I’m throwing my lot in and trying it out.
I also tried Justin Christianson’s itrackerpro. I thought I was going to love that tracking solution but it just went down hill and never really worked right from the start. Customer support wasn’t all that great and follow through failed especially when it stopped tracking for a couple months without recovery even though I asked. The heat map was awesome though so I could see what people were doing and where they were clicking.
To bad it only showed partially on the page and that never got fixed.
If you don’t already know it, tracking is very important. This is the only way to tell where the money is being made. Most people think the important thing is to buy the cheapest leads possible.
This can be further from the truth. The most expensive leads could be the ones that are the most profitable but you wouldn’t know that unless you track.
Testing is also important. Just because people say put this on a page or that, doesn’t mean it works or that it works in all situations. When you test and track you have the dynamic duo for best results.
