Becky Ringler

Becky Ringler's most memorable post has nothing to do with blogging. She describes a Saturday appointment to help a man pre-arrange his own funeral, sometimes meeting people in their homes because that is where they are comfortable, and finding real conversation and unexpected warmth in work most people would consider morbid or a waste of time.

The rest of the blog stays personal too. She bakes a new oatmeal chocolate chip cookie recipe with her husband Matt after experimenting with quick oats, writes plainly about what she promises new team members who join her in Empower Network, and works through three weeks of reciting Andy Andrews' Seven Decisions for Success aloud each night to find new meaning in familiar words.

A post on getting a YouTube account suspended treats the setback as an opening to get more creative rather than a disaster, in keeping with the steady, unbothered tone running through the rest of her writing.

The funeral pre-arrangement post is the most unusual, human material on this blog, with the cookie recipe close behind.
