Think You’ll Ever Have a Dream Job?

I would wager a ton of money that you are not at your dream job today, nor will you ever be. Most people don’t even know what their dream job would be. And do you know why?

They don’t really want a job and they don’t want to work for someone else.

If you thought about coming up with a dream job, it would also include having a cool boss, flex time, a company with good values, a culture that would let you be creative, a good benefit plan, no overtime, room for promotion, weeks of vacation.

I want to suggest to you that, the only way to get the perfect dream job is to create it yourself.

Become an internet entrepreneur and build your own business.

Degrees Will Not Guarantee Your Dream Job

Does your college or university diploma reflect your current job?

Here are some examples of people I know that went to university, for years. I just don’t see the connection between their degree and their current job.

– Product Manager with a quantum physics major
– Human Resources Recruiter with a geology degree
– VP of Sales with a physical education degree
– Insurance Adjuster with an MBA

See any connection?  There aren’t any. That’s the point.

I guess it goes back to what society expects of us. Go to school. Get a job. Get married. Have a family. Work until you retire. And that’s it.

The world has changed a lot in the 21st century, and yet some things remain the same, like the idea of having to have a job to make a living.

That’s just so old fashioned.

Build Your Own Dream Job

The idea of building a business or doing something out of the norm is extremely frightening to some people. As much as you might hate your job, or your boss, you believe it is the only path to take, because you are conditioned to believe that pattern.

But I have challenged that way of thinking, and so have thousands and maybe millions of people who have successfully created their own home business using the power of the internet.

And, I want to tell you that you can, too!

And don’t tell me you can’t. You don’t know how. Nobody does until they do it.

You learn along the way with systems, and training, and mentors.

You have failures and wins all in the same day, and you celebrate both.

You create your dream job, your own business really, around who you are, what you like, and what you are good at. You may unearth strengths you didn’t even know you had.

Everyone Gets A Dream Job

In the online marketing world where I have immersed myself, I have met all kinds of people from what we think of as traditional jobs.

Here are just some examples:

…computer programmer, doctors, construction workers, a TV executive, an engineer, single moms, a retail manager, a pool cleaner, military personnel, massage therapists, teachers, and a best selling author, just to name a few.

Women and Men.

Of all ages – 19 to 79.

From around the globe – US and Canada, England and France, Australia and Malaysia, South Africa, Norway, Hungary, and so many more.

And they all have the same thing in common. No matter what circumstances they are in, they want to improve themselves and their lives. They want something more than what society has shown, so far. They want to have their own dream job, so they create it themselves. They become successful internet entrepreneurs.
