Take Forty Seconds To Watch This Unquestionable Miracle Of Nature
Isn’t it funny how impatient we are. The internet isn’t fast enough, traffic is too slow, the work day is wearing on and grinding. Whatever it is that is not clicking at the speed you want it to must not be working or needs to be fixed to bear a result.
I grew up in a different time, as a kid we planted a huge garden. We plowed the soil then went back over the soil with a rotor tiller. Removing the large rocks as we went. The next step was raking the soil to get to a more consistent surface. Then we used a spade to dig a furrow in the soil, fertilized the soil and laid seeds into the furrow spaced appropriately. Then on hands and knees gently covering and bringing the soil back over the seeds. Tamp the soil down. Water periodically and wahlaa! You have planted a garden!
The one thing that never occurred to me was the thought that after putting in the work that we would not receive the desired result. It was always miraculous to wander down to the garden and see the tiny shoots poking out of the soil reaching towards the light! Daily watching as the plants grew and thrived and eventually provided a bountiful harvest.
Continued watering, fertilizing and weeding result in a crop that you can be proud of that helped us to sustain a family.
How is building a business from scratch any different? Why do we constantly question the process and the results sometime’s just days or weeks into the venture? Have faith and stay strong in your conviction that what you are doing is going to bear fruit! There is allot of effort that goes into planting a garden! There is also allot of effort that goes into building a business!
Can you see the similarities? Can you see that watering the plants is the same as sending daily messages to your list? Can you see that fertilizing your crop is the same as consistently doing your blog and advertising on a daily basis? Can you see that the sunlight which causes your plants to grow straight and tall when they are receiving the right amount of water and nutrients is the same as listening to uplifting audio and reading inspired literature? Can you see that weeding your garden gets rid of the nutrient sucking garbage that can choke out your crop? When we say no Wussies allowed that is a clear message that we as business people do not want complaining, lazy people in our business waiting for us to do it for them!
