In one word….., “The 50th Law,” comes down to fearlessness.
Brian and I were at a recent event for our company and one of the speakers named Tracey Walker recommended The 50th Law along with another book named, “The Greatest Manifestation Principle in the World” by Carnelian Sage.
When people you admire and respect are making the kind of money you desire, you tend to pay attention and do what they suggest…at least if you have a brain at all.
This book is about a particular philosophy of life….basically your fears are a kind of prison that confines you within a limited range of action. The less you fear, the more power you will have and the more fully you will live. Robert Greene and Curtis Jackson (aka 50 Cent)’s intention is that you will discover this power for yourself.
The 50th Law-Chapter 1: Intense Realism
50 Cent grew up in a very dangerous world….the hood of Southside Queens. His mother got pregnant with him at the age of 15 and was murdered because of a drug beef as she was a known for being one of the toughest female hustlers on the street. Curtis was only 8 years old when she was murdered and he didn’t know his father, so he was cared for by his grandparents under minimal supervision… hence his beginning into the “hustler” life.
The 50th Law explains about 50 Cent’s desire to be something more and to have more, especially power. He didn’t want to be confined to the hood, prison, the corporate cats of the music industry…anything or anyone for that matter. He was going to live life on his terms….fearless.
50 Cent had to face intense realism at a young age due to being surrounded by so many drug fiends, gang members, hustlers and other shady characters. This dangerous world forced him to open his eyes to reality and be on guard at all times.
In the book, “The 50th Law”, it also talks about how 50 Cent was shot 9 times with the bullet in the jaw almost taking his life indefinitely. Yet, he escaped death and because of that had nothing left to fear.
Going to have to cut this shorter as this post is far too long already…just get the book and see what it’s about for yourself! Highly recommend!

Learn to master boredom, outlast your rivals, learn early to endure the hours of practice and drudgery to build a proper foundation to grow from.

Push beyond your limits. Your sense of who you are will determine your actions and what you get in life.

Confront your mortality.
