You may not realize it, but you’re a real-life Harry Potter!

Yup, it’s true. Think about it.

When Harry speaks certain phrases, magical spells are the result.

You’re actually no different. The words you speak are POWERFUL!

And what you spend most of your time talking about (and thinking about) is going to show up in your reality. Law of Attraction 101 right?

This video breaks down two words that you’re probably using right now that are basically stopping your manifestation powers in their tracks! STOP using these words!

Law of Attraction Tips – Two Words You Should Stop Using Immediately (VIDEO)

(Watch this video on YouTube:

)

The words you use carry a lot of meaning. In fact, thousands upon thousands of years worth of meaning that generations of people have agreed upon as a society.

And even though the meanings of some words have changed on paper, they still carry around the root meanings from the past (perhaps a different blog post for another day)

Words are just a form of energy. And all creation begins with the energy.

If you would like to have a magical life, you must be mindful of the words that you use.

The Word “Want”

Go look it up in the dictionary… the word ‘want’ has over a dozen different definitions that all mean ‘to lack.

So, when you’re asking the Universe for something, and you’re saying “I want this!

What you’re actually saying is, “I lack this.

And so the Universe complies and delivers exactly on what you say you are lacking.

Instead of using the word ‘want’ substitute it for something like:

I would like to have

Or better yet, “I’m having ____

It’s a wayyyy different energy. It’s the energy of having. And that’s what invites more abundance 🙂

The Word “Need”

Have you ever had a needy boyfriend or girlfriend? When they’re acting all needy with you, does it ever make you want to spend MORE with them?

Heck no! It’s gross!

You just want to get away, right?

The word need completely embodies that yucky energy.

If you’re saying that you ‘need this to be successful’ or ‘I just need more money’

What you’re really communicating is the opposite of what you’d like to happen.

If you’re using this language in regards to money, you are literally pushing it away.

So instead of using the word ‘need’ how about using the word REQUIRE instead?

Because really, it’s a more accurate term to describe something that you’re lacking right now that you require to move forward on.

The Real Truth Behind Your Words

The words you speak aren’t everything, but they are a really great indicator of where you are actually functioning from.

Start paying more attention to the words that you’re using on a daily basis, modify them where required, and eventually you’ll start becoming more in alignment with that which you’d like to have!

Just changing your words will not be enough to have a total transformation, but it will certainly assist you in moving forward.

Can you think of any words that people use that are disempowering? And, can you offer a replacement for them? Please share with me in the comments below!

  1. Love the pattern interrupt right at the start of the vid!! Great Vid! Thanks for sharing!

  2. Haha you’re the first person to comment on that Trina! It’s about time I thought someone would!!!

  3. I definitely agree with this Avram. I try to be very careful how I use these two words. Words are so powerful and they do start creating as soon as they leave our lips.

  4. Nice topic Avram. I have heard this before but these are things that need constant reiterating! they are forgotten easily if not put in to constant practice.

  5. Great post!! Two words that I had no idea that I should remove from my vocab!!

  6. Dude, I love the burb at the start of the video…hilarious buddy. The law of attraction totally works and its something that I was introduced to a few years ago, and I found its all about the self talk that we use daily. I love these tips today pal…some great insight to pulling the things you “Would like to have”. Great Post pal.

  7. Great info…going to implement this into my own life. Love the HP reference too!

  8. Awesome man.. So true we miss using words all the time, a part of the habit uncousionues humans we are, take effort to change those ugly habits..

  9. I used to think that using the word need was extremely bad…still do, but didn’t realize the word “want” was also in the same category. I felt like if I want something then I will do what it takes to get it but if I need something….eh..if I was supposed to get it then I would get it somehow. I will no longer be using the word want either. Thanks for such an insightful post Avram. 🙂

  10. Love the video. I am always told to choose my words carefully when asking the universe for something now I have a better ideal how to ask. Thanks Avram.

  11. Hi Avram, thank you for clarifying the connection between want & lack.
It’s my experience that Try, But, and Can’t are also key words to stay away from to create an empowering vocabulary. TRY allows people to be dishonest with themselves, it’s for people who are interested, not committed. Like Yoda says, “Do or do not do, there is no try.” But generally negates whatever it follows. Use And or However, depending on the situation. When I’m facing a challenge and state that I can’t do it, I am making a declaration to the Universe. An empowering choice of words is, “I will do my best!” and then…Just do it.

  12. Hi! Yes! I love the last post I read and this one is great too! I have been informed about some words from a medicine man named James White Eagle. He mentioned the word “Talk” is not good for us to speak. He says ease use the word “speak.” I have not looked this one up yet, but I have been aware of the change in my speech and energy when I choose to use the word Speak instead of “talk.” 🙂 Very Cool Post ThankYou!

  13. That introductory burb Avram lol! I would like sounds some what more high fluting than I want or I need. That will remind to use it knowing I’m highering my expectations! Appreciate your wisdom.
