Starting A Home Business From The Ground Up- What Do I Need?

When someone asks me to help to start their home business I only ask a few questions to determine whether he/she will make it or not. You should also ask them right now to see whether you want to read the rest of the page or not.

1. What are your goals?

2. How many hours do you have weekly to work on your home business?

3. How many weeks are you willing to dedicate reaching that level of income?

4. How much money can you set aside for marketing budget, buying tools and invest into your education on a monthly basis?

Don’t read any further if you did not spend a couple of minutes by answering these questions really seriously because if would be a waste of your time.

1.Why would anyone succeed without goals, without the why which gives the power to get through any bumps along the way. Even if you had any success how would you know whether you arrived if you don’t have a clear picture of the outcome.

2.You will be your own boss. Without rules, expectations, annoying teammates. You will have to learn to manage your time. It is not too easy to set priorities and without a certain time dedicated only for the steps to get closer your goals it is not really effective to even start working.

Create your own peace you can follow. Have a daily task list which you prepare for the next day before getting to bed. This helps to get focused on starting a home business and by doing your daily task you not only get a routine and focus but you can expect the result much sooner.

3.Results will not come immediately. You will have to learn the skills not only to feel comfortable by doing your daily tasks but to have some things start rolling. You will only feel the results of your present activities three months from now.

It is always like that. Especially when you are “starting in the home business” arena.

Starting a home business is an investment

I wouldn’t give any less than 6 months to see my results if I would in your place. Just think of that. If you know where you want to go, you know the exact steps you have to make but you are not quite sure about the how in the beginning.

By getting closer to the “where” by doing the “what” on adaily basis you will figure out the “how” in about one and half months. I speak of my own experience. It is impossible to do something wrong if you are doing it every day.

Just try to milk a cow without any instructions. At first you will have some painful experiences but I guarantee that you would figure it out in less than a week.

4. Do you want the results to come sooner or later? Your recent results speaking of the level of knowledge, dedication and the effectiveness of your work.

By investing into your education by having a marketing budget to test out paid traffic to see results sooner, and by acquiring the tools which are there to help you to make more in less time is crucial.

Starting a home business for the freedom it gives

Just a recent example from my own life. If you plan to do one of the most effective traffic generation methods which is article marketing you have to do these simple no brainer tasks.

-Writing a short article
-Creating multiple variations of it to upload a couple of directories
-Registering to at least a dozen high PR article directories
-Logging in and uploading your content

Writing: 25-35 minutes
Rewriting to have 12 variations would be manually at least 45-65 minutes
Creating 12 accounts is about 35 minutes
Uploading the content:35-45 minutes
That is 135-185 minutes.
By using some automation tools I’m able to to this in 35-45 minutes daily including writing the article.

I just saved 75% of my time which I can spend  on creating more content, getting backlinks or just enjoying the rest of my day.

Remember that people always join you and not your home business. If everything you do looks tiring and bothersome how could you expect them to join you.
