Blog Every Day

Restored from the Empower Network archive (2011–2017), lightly edited to meet our current advertising standards. Views are the original author’s.

One of the things that Dave and Dave tell us when we first join the Empower Network is to blog every day. You may say to yourself, that’s easy. And to be honest with you it is. You can write about anything you want and it only takes a few moments of your day to so.

But Blogging Every Day Can Be Tough

Blogging every day can be tough. And, in the last few days, I have nt blogged. I started to think about why I haven t. What I came up with is that, perhaps the fact that it is so easy to do has held me back. When we get some free time we think, I won t blog just now, I ll just do it later, or I ll just do it before I go to bed. Because its so easy we put it to the side. And then we forget to do it or something comes up and we don t do it. Also, despite the fact that we can blog about anything, we sometimes have writers block and can think what to write about.

So Why Blog Every Day?

The thing about blogging every day is that, firstly we are creating more and more content on our site for our visitors to read. Someone who likes your articles will be able to look through what you ve got and spend more time on your site. In essence, they get to know you better.

Blogging every day also provides practice for new bloggers. This is certainly something I need and so by blogging every day it puts my writing skills to use and also helps me be creative in what I choose to write about. I don t particularly want to write about the same thing every day!

Blogging every day also extends the amount of people who may come on to your blog. With more blog posts, come s more potential viewers. One person may not be interested in a post about boxing for example, but they may be interested in your blog post in cooking you wrote last week, and that’s how they find your site. Blogging every day provides more opportunity for people to find your blog.

So, I am definitely going to step up my efforts a lot and try and blog at least once a day. I can t guarantee all my posts will be interesting to all of you, but hopefully you will see something you like.

Remember, the more you blog, the more chance you will have of attracting new people so even if your still a beginner, you have nothing to lose by blogging as much as possible!
