The great thing about this game is that it literally makes you feel like a general who is leading his army. The feel of the game is totally different from other war oriented strategy games out there. It is no doubt one of the best strategy PC games for this year.
The game is set in 16th century feudal Japan wherein you get to choose among different samurai clans as they battle for dominion. Each faction composes of different kinds of soldiers just as much as the other Total War games. The idea of the game is to manage your cities and win your battles using tactics and troops management.

Sid Mier’s Civilizations series has become a trademark when it comes to pc strategy games over the years. In Civilization V, you get to control a civilization from prehistoric times up to the future. This game is more analytical compared to other strategy games simply because you have to balance the economy of your civilization in order to provide the needs of your people and at the same time create a good military force in order to fend off conquerors or to pillage other nations. Compared to other Civilization games, this game uses hexagonal tiles instead of square tiles. Aside from that, there are more features introduced on this new installation of Civilization such as religion, espionage and more.

This game is one of my favorite macro strategy games wherein you get control of hundreds of soldiers all at the same time. In this game, you get to control 5 races: the Imperial Guard, the Space Marines, Chaos, the Tyranids, the Orks and the Eldars. Each race has its own strengths and weaknesses. Mix them altogether and you got total chaos. This is a great game for people who want the best strategy PC games that involve science fiction.
