The Barber Shop
The Barber Shop is where you go to get your hair cut and it has always been a special place in the black community. The Barber Shop is more than a place to get a hair cut, it is a place were men can get together and bond or just laugh with other men. The barber Shop is also a place where men network, men from all walks of life come. Men from white collar workers to blue collar workers are in the same room and are able to form relationships. Grandfathers and grandson’s come the BARBER SHOP. At any given time there can be three or four generations coming to the barber shop. The barber shop is also the place where you can talk about anything you want to, from politics to religion and everything in between. The only thing you are not allowed to talk about is? come to think about it I don’t know what you are not allowed talk about in the barber shop. THE BARBER SHOP is a place where a black man can go and feel at home. He can talk to the other men in shop or he can meet and bond with guys he has never met. I have seen times where the barbershop was the only time guys saw each other. The Barber Shop is a place where a man can feel at home and comfortable.
The Barber
The Barber is a very important part of the barber shop . He is the one thing that keeps the barber shop going, he makes everything together. There would be no shop without the barber he is a friend and a coach. He can give you a hair cut and it would be finished but that’s not what a client wants. The client wants more than just a hair cut, he wants you to talk to him make him feel like he the most important person at that time. The client want a piece of the BARBER for the amount of time he is in the chair. THE BARBER is the most important part of THE BARBER SHOP and if you don’t have a good barber you could have a bad day.
