Barbershop talk is great for Men
I am the owner of a BARBERSHOP( Headz UP) and I understand how the shop works. I know how Barbershop talk is great for Men. Men have to have a release and they have to be able to go to a place they feel safe.
I have been in going to a shop to get my hair cut since I was a little boy, and I always enjoyed myself. I loved to hear the men talk about any and everything. They would talk about sports and women. Those were the two most frequent conversations but Politics and religion were topics that would get them to argue.
Sports talk in the Barbershop
This is the most famous topic and the one I like to talk about the most. I am a sports guy and I will watch just about any sport that comes on. Sports talk in the Barbershop one of the most opinionated talks you will ever hear. Everyone has there team that they like and will talk bad about the other teams.
I have been a Dallas Cowboys fan since I was a little boy and I still believe they will win the Super Bowl every year. I live in Indianapolis and we have the Colts here but I still am not a fan. I still go for the Cowboys and just root for the Colts to do good
I just don’t like to hear a guy who really doesn’t know about sports try to talk about sports. He knows he don’t know what he is talking about but he just wants to get in the conversation and talk to the other men in the barbershop
That will get you out of the conversation and talk about what you know best
Religion and Politics talks in the Barbershop
These are topics that are the most polarizing conversations brought up. I have no problem with them and I have my own opinions on both subjects. I try not to push my views on other people because I know mines are not the norm
Religion and politics talks in the Barbershop are great topic but they are all on persons beliefs. A fact is one thing but when you put a belief in the conversation it changes the whole thing. Now you are getting into a touchy spot and people will start to argue their views and push their side on the other person.
I will just say something just start a conversation to see how people really feel and if they have a open mind or is it their way oor the highway
A lot of conversations end up in a talk about religion and it had nothing to do with it. Some people believe that everything is about God and will link all to him. I am not saying this in a bad way I am just pointing it out. And others never want to talk about it and never thinks we should talk about it.
Barbershop talk should be apart of every man’s life
