Why would Ray Lewis or any other athlete use Deer Antler Spray

There has been many reports that Ray Lewis used Deer Antler Spray. I don’t know if they are true or not but I do know the Company’s owner came out and said he used it. A 37 yr old athlete at the end of his career and coming off a serious injury is more likely to use it.

Really any athlete that is injured and wants to get back on the field as fast as they can will try a lot of things to speed up the process.

This is not the right week to bring up these rumors. This is the type of news that breaks a teams focus and will make them lose the Super Bowl.

I have heard of people using banned substances , they know are banned and know what they are taking and will take them anyway. I really don’t know what the big deal is !! A doctor gives you a pill or a cream to help you heal faster and it’s ok but if you go somewhere else it not?

I know doctors give their patients all kinds of things they(patients) are not suppose to have  and it will continue to happen.

But deer antler spray just doesn’t seem to be a bad thing.

As for Ray Lewiswhy wouldn’t he use something to get him back on the field this season. This is his last one and who wouldn’t want to go out on top

Media Day is known for the crazy questions reporters ask players and this year is no exception. Reporters usually ask dumb or funny questions. They ask players questions like

Will you marry me?

What do you eat for breakfast?

All these questions from one little question, and now it has the Baltimore Ravens thinking about something other than football. This always happens and the team that stays focused usually wins. Teams try to keep outside distractions away from the players.

I wonder how much of an effect it would have on the game if people were allowed to use PED’s or use things that heal the body faster. Playing sports at any level can hurt your body and football at the NFL level is just torture on the players bodies.

So I can understand why these athlete’s take something to always stay on top of their game. They know on day it will be all over and what type of lifestyle will they have and  how much money will they have

I know there are people who don’t need to use steriods. These are people who can’t control themselves and will abuse it. These people are the reason products get banned, there is always one bad apple in the bunch.
