A Turning Point

I have several turning points as to why I got into blogging. Sit back and read on…
What led me to where I am now in life blogging? Well to be quite honest with you I got into this is because I am tired of going to work. Yes I need the money who doesn’t that’s why you work. I still do work, but eventually God Willing I don’t want to be working for someone else long term. I don’t like being told what to do, what time I have to be somewhere to get paid, and I don’t like someone telling me what my worth is. My goal is to be able to retire from working for others.
Another reason I got into this is because of my first daughter and how she was molested being over a family members house while I worked night shift she was 6 years old when this happened to her. My other two children were there as well they witnessed it. A year later she was diagnosed with cancer.
Because my children went through this ordeal while I working I knew I had to get out of the workforce I just didn’t know how, so I continued to work full time until I could find something different. After about 6 months I was on facebook minding my business when for some reason I seen in a Facebook group about making money online. So I either inboxed the person or the person inboxed me and I asked for more information.
I tried going to college for a while, but for some strange reason I could never finish the way I wanted to. There was something alway about family. Sometimes there were real decisions like, do I want my family to eat?, do I want the electric on?, Do I want a roof over our heads?, so I chose to work and my family.
I seen the value in having my own blog and how I could make money with it, so I joined. Its been about 2 years I would say since I joined and I love this business. I love the fact that you can actually help people see things the way you see them and not only that change people’s position about how they feel about certain things besides making the money. Yes you can make money blogging.
I mentioned before that I still do work and I work part time, but 3rd shift. I noticed now that my children are upset when I have to go to work. I just can’t wait until the day I can resign my position and I can be home full time. I pray for that day and I can see it happening very soon.
Since I work at night I can walk my son to school, walk him back, and I can help him with his homework and spend quality time with him and my daughter. I can only imagine being home full time working from home that would be so awesome.
Some people often wonder is that even possible to work from home and make a living. Yes you can I have seen others do it, but the thing about this business is that you have to do it everyday share your blog with others and eventually you will see results in your business. Not only that you have to share valuable content and invest in your business in order to take your business to another level.
This business it like a snowball effect to me. Imagine you take one little snow ball and roll it down the hill and walk away. While its rolling its getting bigger and bigger. Can you picture it? Hey don’t try that please!!!
When you blog on a daily at first you may not see anything and when you do it for for periods of time you will see something some people may compliment your blog, some people maybe your partner in business, oh and not to mention people may find your blog by way of google.
Can you imagine that?
In the comments below tell me your turning point in life. What made you decide what you are doing in your life. Thanx!
The reason I shared this because I know that there are other parent out there that would love to be a full time parent and spend time with their children and also being there for every event in their life. If you would like more information on this click the banner below.

Wow!!! Thank you!!!
A huge turning point in my life is when I made the decision to move to Chicago for a couple of years… If I hadn’t, I would’ve never met my wife and be going on 10 years of marriage with 3 beautiful kids! I sometimes wonder how my life would look if I hadn’t… it’s not a pretty picture! I am blessed and highly favored.
Awesome!! Congratulations!! Sometimes you have to make the huge step and keep praying the whole way. 😀
