When finding legitimate work from home opportunities there are a couple of things to consider. Those that are serious about having a business online, working from home or wanting to leave their 9-5 job will be happy to learn this information.

1) What Is It That You Really Want
This is an important question that far too many new online marketers, professionals and business owners need to answer before starting a business online. Usually if you do not know right away what you really want, it means your mindset hasn’t shifted to getting out of that paycheck mentality or believing in yourself to make a change and achieve your goals and dreams.
Determine your current situation and how you see yourself if you were to start an online business from home. Or if you are a professional or marketer that just want another source of income, then determine exactly what your ultimate outcome is.
Understand your purpose and the reasons why you want to work from home. Knowing your ultimate purpose or your ‘why’ will motivate you and build confidence in taking on any legitimate work from home opportunties.
2) Where Are The Legitimate Work From Home Opportunities
Generally you can start off by just searching for work from home opportunities using keywords that are specific to what you want. Search the specific industry for the products and programs you are interested in like weight loss or health and wellness or online marketing and so on.
Next, start researching any of the companies that you come across. You can get a lot of information from their corporate or company site. Look for comments and testimonials from members in the company. But keep in mind there will always be those ‘naysayers’. So you will have to carefully sift through some of the negativity to get the real information on that company or program.
Get referrals from you friends, business partners or colleagues. There is a lot of people turning to the internet these days to work from home, so you may know someone that is in an opportunity. Talk with them and get their feedback. Doing the leg work and spending some time researching the opportunity you are considering, will generally save you a lot of headaches and allow you to make a better decision.
