Twitter Timeline
This is the area where all the tweets from your followers and people you follow stream in. Depending upon the time of day, the day of the week and the time of year it is will determine the stream flow of ‘tweets’ and how active Twitter is.
Twitter Trends
This is a really cool area of your Twitter profile to gain valuable insight on what’s happening right now. This area will show you the most popular hashtags and trends people are tweeting about. Trends are a great way to connect with people and also prospect for potential clients or customers. You can gain good following using trends and hashtags, just don’t over do it.
Quick Tour Twitter Profile
As I show in the video, you can have your own custom header on your Twitter profile along with backgrounds and custom colors for your fonts and links.
Also your short bio is an important area to add information that people can see at a quick glance what you are all about. Another great feature in your short bio is that you can add clickable links and hashtags. Remember to use your keywords here and also consider using similar verbiage and keywords from your other social profiles, like I discussed recently in the Quick Tour Of Your LinkedIn Profile.

And if you are not on Twitter, I highly recommend you get an account as it is a great way to connect and engage with your audience with short 140 character tweets 24/7!
