Quick Tour LinkedIn Profile

There are many key platforms that are a must have for your business.  Your LinkedIn profile should be one of them, along with Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+ and Instagram.

Today I wanted to give you a quick tour of your LinkedIn profile and give you a general idea of certain areas that will help you achieve a higher level of success for 2015.  Put this on your list of things to get set up for your business as your LinkedIn profile will be a powerful platform for gaining more exposure for you, your business, products or services.

And LinkedIn isn’t just for professionals.  Online work from home, network marketing, direct sales and MLMers will gain an advantage to having a profile on this social site.

Custom Profile Header Background

Over the past few months LinkedIn added the feature where you can have a customized profile header, which they call ‘background’.  This is a great way to help brand you, set you apart and keep your profile unique to your visitors and audience.

Visit your LinkedIn profile and check out how you can edit and add your custom header background.

Edit Your Profile Area

As I point out in the video, your LinkedIn profile has the ability to edit your information with ease.  Google and other search engines love LinkedIn because of the content value.  Revisiting your LinkedIn profile and doing some edits will be key in being found on the search engines.

Use your specific keywords that represent your business, programs, products or services. When you set up your LinkedIn profile properly you are going to gain an advantage over others and attract the search engines, which means more traffic to your LinkedIn profile.  More traffic to your LinkedIn profile means an increase in making more connections and building those relationships to paying customers.

Published Posts

A few months ago LinkedIn added another cool feature, Published Posts.  This is something I’m going to be doing a lot more for 2015!  The reason why is because it is so easy to add a published post and gain additional exposure. I repurpose my blog posts that is perfect to publish on my LinkedIn profile.  You can add images and even embed videos.

Your LinkedIn profile published posts get seen by your connections in LinkedIn, but also the content is seen by the search engines.  This feature is like having another blog, giving you more opportunity to share your content, images and videos.

That was just a quick tour of your LinkedIn profile.  Let me know if this was helpful to you.  I highly recommend you get over to LinkedIn and update your profile or if you are not on LinkedIn, then be sure to make that a priority.  This is a platform that can really provide much more exposure for you, your programs, products or services.

And if you don’t have a blog yet, then you are either not serious about your business or you just don’t understand the power of what a blog can do for your business and achieving greater success.  Check out the Viral Blogging System today.
