2. Figure out your content – Will you be using ebooks to target techies? Videos for a personal development niche? As I said before know your audience, content is only going to be effective for certain demographics, so choose wisely.

With over 300,000,000 pieces of content shared a day you’ve got to raise the status quot. There is so much trash on the internet people are on the defensive naturally.

I like to use the 80/20 rule, I give 4 pieces of valuable non sales based content to every piece of sales directed content I post. People will be a lot more open to sharing your content if you’re not bombarding them with sales pitches constantly.

Unless you have epic content on a consistent basis, you have to build relationships with your audience to build trust, you can’t just throw up a bunch of trash and expect people to buy.

There’s more that can go into it, but what I’m about to say can be applied to working online in general. Like everything online you have to give it time, this is a long term solution, not a quick fix.This brings me to my next piece of useful information.
