You are perfectly imperfect (and the world needs to hear you)

I keep false-starting on my blogging runs.

To be doing this Empower Network thing “right” I’m supposed to be blogging everyday as part of my 8 core commitments.

I haven’t been.

Some stuff I have been doing well … but it’s definitely been a juggling act.

Surgery at the beginning of May put me on a different path for awhile and dangit if they weren’t pretty dead on with their estimation of the average recovery time (man I hate being average). They said 8-10 weeks. It’s been about 6… and I’m only just feeling like my brain fog is subsiding.

Seriously, am seeing how stuff like this can be devastating without passive income coming in. But I could’ve done better with the story telling.

Getting Back to Consistent

I’m not even gonna say that today is the first day of being consistent ’cause at this point, frankly, talk is cheap

But I’m also not gonna beat up on myself either ’cause here’s the thing – that kind of mea culpa drama is nothin’ but energy wasted. And I for one am sure not into wasting something that’s always running short anyway.

And as I was watching Lesson 1 in the Masters Course (for the second time) I was reminded that this is and always will be a journey – not a destination.

That there are certain “steps” along the way that we all must take … certain milestones that we pass which may not be comfortable but that we can learn to appreciate any way because we know when we see them we’re on the right path.

And that along the way, we’ve got to keep telling our story so that others may come too.

That’s the part I’ve been missing out on lately. I’ve even been slacking on emails which is very not like me.

In a recent post Dave Sharpe said:

“Someone, somewhere, is dying (maybe even literally) to hear what you have to say, and it will change their life when you share with them who you really are, how you really feel, and what you’ve overcome — so they can realize they’re right where they need to be in their life and in their business.”

It’s so true – I realize now that blogging about whatever’s going on in my life really can be a part of my journey – out loud where it really matters.

In the end it’s connection, community and culture that end up mattering the most – and no reason on God’s green Earth we can’t have all that … and wealth of course … while we’re just wherever we are.

All I can say is Thank Goodness for Top Tier opportunities and leverage.

And good people to share the journey with.

The world needs to hear you.

It’s so much better to be perfectly imperfect. You’ll leave a bigger mark on the world. The one you’re supposed to.

Seems like I’ve come to the end of this post lol … could be it’s ended up being about nothing – take what serves and flush the rest.
