Traffic Thoughts . Part 1

No, I am not thinking about Internet Traffic in this blog post.  🙂

Traffic Thoughts

I was literally stuck in traffic and as I thought about it, at least before I started driving out to Med School (for an evening class), I put my phone out and installed that thing with a pole by the car’s dashboard, before I drove.  So that if I remember (or if I got bored while stuck in traffic), I could create a video.  🙂

The wonder of touchscreen on your phone.  🙂

A lot of people talk about “Knowledge is Power”… and as I have also written in previous blog posts, really “Applied Knowledge is Power”…

… there are still those who “mock” people who pursue higher education.  (I got mocked again for this!  It’s like, well, sorry, it’s a special program that people like me get invited to, if you are on that special list  🙂 …. and they don’t know about it, because they were not invited to participate in it!  LOL!)

It’s not something to laugh about, really.  Because people who pursue higher education aren’t necessarily worthy of such mockery.  It’s all about “projection” – what part of what people like me (who pursue higher education) don’t you like about yourself?  Are you really that angry at yourself that I am actually doing in MY life, what YOU chose to NOT DO in YOUR life?

Because sometimes, it’s not “all about the money”…

… there are actually people who “like” life’s setup.  And there are those who don’t.

There are people who are too intellectually indolent.

… and there are those, like me, who enjoy the intellectual calisthenics that higher education provides.

And just sometimes, one ACTUALLY makes a little difference.

… and each of us (people like me who pursue higher education) can only make our own little individual difference, our own individual little contribution..

…. and the “little” that we give, en-masse, joined together, makes so much of a “whole” and that new “whole entity” MOVES something…

… and we are all the more “richer” in personality and in intellect, because we all “exchanged” and shared of our gifts, our respective expertise, and the insights shared is something worth remembering.

So, as I was battling with a horrible “fear” of a stalker, after I started speaking about it, after praying about it, and after consulting the police about it, it’s the same principle ….

… if you do not know what to do, then the fear remains, BUT, if you know what to do, then you will eliminate fear, or maybe reduce it to a little size so you are not distracted, so that your mind and your thinking is not divided.

So when I published all my blog posts, that was a step towards getting rid of that fear again (that used to make me “run away and hide”, in the past.  Not anymore.

We are called to do something in this short life that we all have.  It is important to use time and all our creative energies to do our Life’s Assignment.

It seems to me, that I attract “deep thinkers”. You know why?  Because I am.

I have reached that point in my life that I will no longer engage, consciously at least, in association with  “indecisive” people, because they actually bring me down, and it frustrates me, and I am getting better at recognizing it.  It’s not so much as just shutting out people, because I still have this insatiable propensity to “help” with like an outburst of “possibility thinking and encouragement” for people.

Now I can do all that through blog posts.  You know why?

Because if you argue with people’s limitations (or their perceived limitations), then it becomes THEIR reality.  And I don’t want to be a part of it.  It would seem like I contributed, in their minds “in a negative way”, in order for them to stay stuck.  So now, these days, when people communicate with me and they give me updates on “where they are at” on things, or on life, or on some problems, I just ask relevant questions as to “why” they are at where they’re at….

… and when it’s clear in my mind, I silently say a prayer so that I will be guided on what to say.

And then so when I say stuff, I want it to be an encouragement, I want whatever I say to STICK!  So that they themselves, if they give the advice / advise credence and some time, can realize that it is THEIR decision, it is THEIR action that is necessary to make changes in THEIR life.  And we all could use some good reminders.
