Final Answer

So back to that final exam…. I felt like I was literally doing brain calisthenics, and it was then also, when I would feel my brain literally “hurting” from too much thinking!  Talk about “deep thinking!”… I have had a whole lot of those, when you are reading books and understanding principles and trying so very hard to just plain COMPREHEND!  (English is not primary language and I still THINK with my primary language and then TRANSLATE into English).

So anyway, as I was trying to split hairs and finding specific colored needles in a haystack…

… I found my final answer after handwritten calculations done on about 17 sheets of blank paper, used back to back.

“0.074568”

Final answer.

Was I confident in that answer?

We all talk about fear and having confidence and not feeling insecure and such.  Well, here’s a secret.  Well, a secret of mine.  (That I no longer fear to even blog about! :-))

I have been a long time insecure person who has suffered from so much self-doubt almost all throughout my life.

Where did that come from?  Well, sorry but I have gotten rid of my own “blame list” (trust me, we all have those), and so, now,  just on top of that list is ME.  🙂

And THAT was the journey.

To know myself, my strengths and my weaknesses, and to learn how to work on my strengths, and then learn and ACCEPT my weaknesses, and then maybe find tools or resources, that I can use to help me with my weaknesses.  Because sometimes, we can even turn our weaknesses into strengths when we find the reasons behind it.

Reasons, not being equivalent to excuses, but reasons, why they are where they are.  With the addition of “So what am I going to do about it?”

Brings me back to a story, when I was about 12 years old, and I was in sophomore year.  I was one of the youngest in my batch, if not the youngest, because I skipped a grade (I got promoted to another grade… I always blog about “mockers”, well, because I had a lot of those.  I was bullied a lot, sometimes because I was “smart”, I wasn’t really “geeky”, I was just “different” even  back in high school.  In my yearbook, there were people who “wrote about others” … and people who were close to me, and it was on published in my year book “star athlete of the class”… I was in the varsity and I was kind of popular).

I was maybe “intellectually” at par with my batchmates, but emotionally, I really was just a kid thrown into another higher “grade” among what seemed to me like “adults”.

I was goofy in high school.  People knew I was smart, but I didn’t really care about my grades back then.  I wasn’t interested in boys, I had no boyfriend in high school despite the popularity, it wasn’t just because my parents were very strict, but because I really WAS NOT interested in boys, although a lot of boys were courting me and sending me flowers.  (I’ve always loved flowers). I always got invited to parties.  I always had chaperones though, brothers or male cousins.  Most, if not all the time.
