Do you know how bad it hurts to be stood up?

There I was browsing around in Fred Meyer choosing the groceries I needed for the week.

As I came around the corner into the next isle I could see a face that made me nervous.

It was the face of a person I had called to meet to see if they were interested in the new business I had joined, not too long ago.

Let’s just face it right now.

Multi-level marketing isn’t for everyone.

Yes, there are some sleazes out there but I am sure you have never had the intention of “scamming” people out of their money right?

I am just being real with you.

So where does all this “blame” energy come from?  Well, it comes from people, who for the most part, have an employee mindset.

Warm Market Mishaps

I know I was tired  of all the excuses I would get from people I knew could benefit from the product or opportunity had they just looked at it in that light.

What light is that?

People can’t treat these products, which 9 times out of 10 are better than anything you can get at a frickin’ store, like products.

Am I right?

People can’t get a job where their income could be dramatically increased if they just put the same amount of work to make their boss happy as they do in their own business.

But no…

They call it a scam, a pyramid scheme (even though a lot of jobs are pyramids) and complain instead of just looking at it for what it is.

A Simple Product…

I say screw ‘em!  Why?

Because who wants someone who isn’t willing to work for what they want running with you?

Do you really want your friend from high school who smokes pot and drinks beer all night to help you get to the promise land?

 Point and case here.

Most people’s typical warm market is full of people just like that and if you are sick and tired.

Tired from your long hike you bend down next to the flowing water to look and see your reflection staring back at you as you dip your canteen into the cool crisp refreshing water.

You raise the canteen to you lips and take a drink, refreshed you stand up and are able to not only get what you needed but to have access to a unlimited supply of sustenance there for the taking.

You begin to lift your eyes to the horizon and notice other people doing the same.  Dipping their own canteens, some large, some small, some so big you can’t imagine how they carry it.

You just can’t help but smile because this stream is never ending – there is enough for everyone here.

Why You Should Stop Kickin’ Tires and Just Get In!

I am not going to sit here and sell you on why you should just get in.

Instead I am going to give you the reasons why I got on the internet and how it has helped me.

After all…

When I decide to stop sitting on the sidelines and get up and in the game with the big dogs instead of playing small that was when my life changed and my business along with it.

I have been in countless opportunities.  I have sat on the edge of a railing watching a hand-full of strangers be sold on an opportunity as my mother pitched on a white board.

I have ran around town to get to home meetings and have been stood up.

I have made money, the hard way.

I have made no money for all the effort I was putting in.

I have called people only to get a voice mail box, knowing that they were home.

I decided to quit, only to get in months later.

Until one day I was just tired of all the, “I will think about it and call you back later.” bullshit.

I got online looking for answers just like you are right now.

I have wondered around the forest for years and got no where until one day my sponsor gave me a compass that brought me to the stream that we talked about earlier.

The same way I will give it to you if you are just willing to take it.

Cause aren’t you tired of trying to sell people, or convince people when you know your opportunity is a good one if they would just take the time to drop guard and listen?

Aren’t you tired of putting hours of work in to only get paid less than minimum wage after all is said and done?

Isn’t it frustrating to call people only to hear a voice mail box?

Isn’t it just heart breaking to know the real reason that one person didn’t show up was because they didn’t want to talk about your opportunity?

I have been there, I have been there a thousand times, I have been there.

Until I said, “Screw all theses wuss bags…”

The Roots of My Online Story

You see when I first got online it was in fact scary for me.

I knew almost nothing about the internet, barely knew how to use a computer, didn’t have a Facebook account and sure as hell had no clue what I was doing.

But did I let that stop me?

Heck no!

After all I want you to consider this:  When you were a baby did you think twice when you decided you wanted to stand up and walk?

When you decided to take action and get up and not crawl around after looking at all these people getting to where they wanted to be with half the effort and in less time?

Sounds kinda like your business doesn’t it?

No, no, you didn’t.  You see you have to cut through the underbrush to get what you want.

Nothing in life worth having is easy to get.

You can’t expect to have more tomorrow if you continue to do exactly what you did today…

Knowing in your heart it isn’t working or producing results…

You have to decide your going to take action just like you did when you first started in the opportunity you’re in now and be a little comfortable with, being uncomfortable.

I did…

You have to decide you want it bad enough to listen because I am willing to bet what I have for you is a hell of a lot easier than calling someone you know isn’t going to answer the phone.

I was full of fear when I started online.

Probably like you are feeling right now.  Honestly it  stops a lot more good people than it stops the bad…

Fear of loss, fear of ridicule, fear of being uncomfortable, fear of being alone…

I know…  Cause I felt exactly the same.

But here is what fear is in my book:

F – false

E – emotions

A – appearing

(to be)

R – real 

Once you realize that, once you know that just like I do now, you can master it.  Because none of those fears should stop you from being all you can be even if you are truly scared.

I got online to figure out how to build my business.  I got online looking for answers and I found them on the other side of a link that I was honestly reluctant to click.

But I told myself, “If he can do it… I can too.”

Because it is true!
