Skype/Video Project

About a month ago my friend Julie and I were talking and came up with the idea to do a video-round-robin using Animoto (link).

We ended up with 3 participents and this is the result:

We agreed to meet on the next 4 Tuesdays to develop the next project: End of Year / Season’s Greetings / Christmas Round Robin project.

We got 11 people who want to participate but yesterday, only 3, me, Julie and Debbie (if you want the originals) showed up.

Julie is still playing around with Animoto, Debbie is looking for a suitable song and I had done a first version 3 hours before our meeting. I’m still not sure if I’m gonna leave it or if I’ll change it.

We agreed to have everyone post their animoto links until Friday so we (the Originals) can watch them and approve or ask for changes.

The three of us will meet on Monday again to talk about it and see who’ll link to whom and if any of us needs to talk to any of the participants and ask for changes.

Round Robin

I probably should explain what we mean with “round robin”. Maybe you have noticed with the video above, it’s linked to the next one, and that one is linked to the third and that one is linked back to mine. So, no matter whose video gets to be looked at first – if people click on the connecting link – all videos will get a view.

Next Meeting is Tuesday 20th

We hope everybody who initially said they want to join will be around and join us in the meeting room so we can tell them, who is going to link to whom. It’s time to upload the video to Youtube. We’ll show how to add annotations (the link to the next one), how to change the title, so we all have same or similiar titles, add description and tags.

Traffic

We also will talk about traffic. Everybody’s job is on Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th to drive traffic.

I figure by then I have learned a thing or two from the Empower Network training and can add some valuable gems to that topic.
