Mentorship
refers to a personal developmental relationship in which a more experienced or more knowledgeable person helps to guide a less experienced or less knowledgeable person. However, true mentoring is more than just answering occasional questions or providing ad hoc help. It is about an ongoing relationship of learning, dialog, and challenge.
The person in receipt of mentorship may be referred to as a protégé (male), a protégée (female), an apprentice or, in recent years, a mentee.
“Mentoring” is a process that always involves communication and is relationship based, but its precise definition is elusive. One definition of the many that have been proposed, is

Mentoring in Europe has existed since at least Ancient Greek times. Since the 1970s it has spread in the United States of America mainly in training contexts and it has been described as “an innovation in American management”.

Where to find a Mentor?
I have been doing Network Marketing since last century and been on the Internet since the Internet Explorer button on the office computer showed up but that’s another story.
In all that time I have tried to figure both out. Network Marketing and Internet Marketing. I have heard that you need a mentor – but nobody told me how to get one.
I have never heard of Mentoring For Free until May 2012. I had been following a german guy’s blog and one day he wrote about Mentoring For Free and since I had been hearing this word “mentor” for a little while and never figured out what that really means, I went and downloaded the ebook – it’s free imagine!

Several things are discussed, but you learn how to properly conduct phone interviews with these prospects, and an email script is even available for your use.
I personally have – at the time of this writing – not been able to participate on one of those live calls to prospects where they try to find out what color personality someone is by asking some key questions because of the time they are happening.
Also on the Mentoring For Free no-cost version you get a once a week training call focusing on various topics like: “The Power Of The List”, “The Five Pillars” and how to evaluate a business opportunity, “Colors Of Success”, and how to evaluate a persons personality type, and “How to evaluate and compare MLM compensation plans”. There is even an “MLM mastermind” call of Saturday evening where people from various network marketing companies get together and discuss various topics.
All in all there are about 10 calls per week. All of them but the prospect calls are recorded. They have a large archive with calls which is perfect for me because the live calls are usually outside of my time possibilities. I may not be able to talk and participate on those calls but I can listen to them later on my iPod, take notes and learn. Sometimes even a blog posts gets written because of such a call.
