The founder of a car company was rejected, bombed and had his factory destroyed before any of it worked, and that story is told here to make a point about persistence that survives the retelling. It is the best written thing on a blog otherwise built around fitness programmes.

The training posts are specific. What a Tabata interval actually is and why four minutes of it does something a longer session does not. A question worth asking, which is whether the number on the scale tells you anything about your health. The reasons people give for not exercising, examined rather than dismissed. There is also a short piece on whether to brand yourself at all, more balanced than the usual answer.

He coaches for a fitness company and promotes its programmes and its shake, and those posts are promotion, though he is at least specific about what is in the tub.
