How to Get Higher Page Rank and Alexa Score

What Are Page Rank and Alexa Score?
Overall, Google Page Rank (GPR) is an indication of how Google interprets your site’s authority.
GPR is based on the number of links to your site, and the GPR of those sites linking to yours.
Alexa Score or the Alexa Traffic Ranking (ATR) is based on the amount of traffic your site gets.
And there’s a correlation between page rank and Alexa score, although there are outliers such as low page rank sites with high traffic and vise verse.
But the predominance of evidence shows a definite association.
In other words, the better your page rank, the more likely you are to have a better traffic rank.
This also would seem intuitive since your preferred placement in search results should result in more traffic, and ultimately more links to your site.
So how can you tell what your Google Page page rank and Alexa score are?
Well there are many ways to determine your page rank and Alexa core, some of which are just by going to Alexa.com and Page Rank Checker all the time to get them.
You can also add widgets from each of these sites (as you can see on the lower right sidebar on mine) that give your current stats.
There are many other methods, but using a browser tool bar like the Alexa toolbar (or for Firefox, the Alexa Firefox Add-on or the Firefox SEO Status Page Rank and Alexa toolbar are additional ways to monitor your stats.
Either one also gives you additional data, and as I mentioned, and there are other ways to monitor your page rank and Alexa score.
How to Improve Page Rank and Alexa Score

Until I successfully had content syndication working in my favor, my page rank and Alexa score had been holding consistently at 1 and ~239,000 consistently, and then after some tribe syndication in Unified Tribe, they held pretty consistently around 1 and 197.000 or so for a long time.
Finally with the added power of TribePro and SEOPressor together, I’m finally down to 147,000 and holding on Alexa and have reached a page rank of 3 with generally around 200-400 unique visitors and around 275-480 page views per day.
In addition to the on page SEO and inbound links from content syndication, a couple of plugins are essential for improving your page rank and Alexa score that resutls.
The Gogle XML sitemaps plugin is also a must for your blog, helping search engines evaluate your site, and getting better indexing.
The WordPress related posts plugin or Outbrain will help keep readers engaged on your site, lowering your bounce rate, and improving your page rank as well.
And commenting on others sites, especially those with a higher page rank, will improve your page rank as a result of back linking from what Google sees as high authority sites.
Focusing on these simple steps were all I have done to achieve this improvements in my page rank and Alexa score.
So Why Should You Improve your Google Page Rank and Alexa Score?
If you are interested in improving your blog’s traffic, getting more leads for your business, then you will definitely want to improve your page rank and Alexa score.
The quality of your traffic is part of the reason as well; your page rank is based on quality of back links.
The amount of your traffic will increase from search engine results due to the improvement in page rank.
So getting to page one of Google for selected keywords is important to your overall traffic strategy.
And creating high quality content that is empowering, enlightening, educating or entertaining will cause people to stay longer, share and comment, which will help increase your page rank.
Once you realize this and put these strategies into motion (and it does take a bit of consistent persistence!), I am sure your page rank and Alexa score will improve as well!
