Today is Moving Day!

My daughter and grandson moved into our place today. It’s very exciting because we have been wanting them to move in for the past two years. There were many obstacles and circumstances that prevented that from happening.

It was a pretty smooth moving day for us.

Nicole and I did all of the moving and man does our bodies hurt!!! It was 109 degrees today. My arms and face feel toasted. We have to go back and finish up tomorrow morning. I hope we can wake up!

We have been waiting a long time for this moving day. Nicole is now available full-time to work with us at Urban Girl Studios. This is very exciting for her on a more regular basis.

My husband and I are excited to be a big part of our grandson’s life right now. He is such an amazing kid and Nicole, Ashley and Myself all work from my home so we are all watching and caring for him. This is what working from home is all about.

Moving Day isn’t always the funnest thing to do but it really makes a statement when your taking a big new step in your life.

It’s funny, but sometimes you know when you need to make a change in your life. You know when your making a right decision and moving in the direction you have dreamed of you entire life. That time is now for myself, as well as Nicole. This is the right move for her, for us, for our family as a whole and for our grandson.

It’s an amazing feeling when you know your making that right move. Moving Day has been long, hot and tiring.  But I know it is worth every single muscle ache, the heat and the pain. We know we are putting of lives on the track we have always believed it could become.

 I think this picture is an awesome representation of the direction we are going within our lives. Life is your mirror. What you see as your outside always comes from the inside. I know that to be true and we are making all the required efforts to take control of our own lives and making it the way we have always dreamed.

I know we are all going to be having another moving day in the next couple of months but not until summer is just about over. We are really wanting to all live really close to each other which is making it a little harder because we are trying to agree where we all want that to be. We love hanging out with each other and being a part of each others lives, which is what I have always dreamed it to be since my kids were born.

I am extremely blessed!!!
