Waking up with a tiger is different!!!!
Just caught this clip on YouTube about Michael Jamieson and his experiences with his tiger. Not your average household there. There’s loads of video’s he has taken of his time with his friend.
I don’t know about you but I would be a little reticent about keeping a tiger in the house with all the other usual pets around. Here’s another one for you to enjoy.

Whilst it’s great to see this action I don’t know whether he has owned them from when they were born and hand reared them from the word go or what. I personally feel that animals this enormous and fundamentally dangerous should be left in the wild unless they are one of the many at risk animals. In that instance I can get the theory of breeding them in zoo’s and wildlife parks and then if possible releasing them back in the wild as long as they haven’t got too attached to their handlers and lost the instinct to fend for themselves out in the wild.
Over the years I’ve kept and looked after the usual array of dogs, cats, rabbits and canaries but not got into the more exotic creatures. Today we keep two cats and they keep us busy. One tip don’t ever try and herd them:-) I’ve had various friends who have got into keeping snakes and I’ve known of people who have even looked after such animals as crocodiles and alligators. Not too sure about that and I’m not sure how many of them escape or are released in the countryside either by accident or on purpose.

So much for keeping a tiger I’m off to feed my cats and I’ll not get mauled by them, scratched maybe but that’s all the fun of having cats….the small ones. Getting them in their boxes to go down the vets is always interesting.
