Give us a smile you’re caught on camera..
Passersby had the opportunity to express their best smile on camera and then the finished article was included on posters next to the giant camera. This goes along with the “Free Hugs” scenario where a group hold signs up offering free hugs to passing people just to cheer them up. I think it’s a great idea and although a lot of us reject the idea of CCTV everywhere this caught on camera is wonderful don’t you think?
Talking of caught on camera and a smile, how about happiness?
This next clip is taking the scientific view in what happiness is all about. There’s some interesting steps that the students have to go through and it’s great how they approach the attitude of gratitude whilst getting caught on camera.
Happiness is an inside job.
To me, whatever happens “out there” does not determine my general feeling of happiness. I just decide on a day to day basis that I’m going to be happy and smile whatever occurs during the day. I’ve always felt that no matter what it’s up to me how I respond to it. If you get cut up in traffic or someone gives you grief on the phone don’t let them spoil your day. It’s an energy sapping thing when you get annoyed or upset about anything and although it’s difficult at times it really is important to get over it as quickly as possible and retain your sense of balance.
As has been said many times by a lot of people it’s who you spend most time with that often determines your feeling of confidence and self worth. If you really have to spend any time with someone who brings you down, perhaps a member of your own family, then keep it to a minimum. Alternatively, tell them in the nicest possible way that you don’t want to hear all about the doom and gloom and can we lighten up the conversation.
Here’s a little “Happiness” with Alexis Jordan
Something to brighten your day and set you up for your weekend. Talking of the weekend, take your phone or camera out this weekend and capture on camera what’s going on in your life. Leave a link to your film in the comment section below and share your happiness. Enjoy.
Enjoy your weekend and may the force be with you. I think it’s Dr Who’s fiftieth this weekend so if your a fan there’s got to be something on television about it. That’s definitely caught on camera
