Bad Hair Day?……

Restored from the Empower Network archive (2011–2017), lightly edited to meet our current advertising standards. Views are the original author’s.

So you think you are having a bad hair day…..

Expedition 36 Crew Member, astronaut Karen Nyberg, demonstrates how she washes her hair in space onboard the International Space Station.

And you thought you had issues with washing your hair. The things I didn’t realise they had to go through up there on the International Space Station. I did a blog a while ago where we were given a trip around the Space Station so if you want a refresher just click here.

Still having a bad hair day? Well here’s some tips…

And this is what you do so take note….

1st – Brush your hair and using a comb, tease the top of it. Make sure it’s nice and smooth and then take a small section of hair from the side and twist it. After that, simply pin it in the back of your head and do the same with the other side. If you want, pull some hair out to create a messier look!
2nd – Take your comb and go wild :D Then take a big section of hair, twist it and pin it away from your face. Fix everything with some hairspray and you are done!
3rd – Brush your hair and divide it into 2 sections. Start braiding one of them, secure it and then pull the elastic band down, just a little bit. Start to pull out the hair from the braid, really gently, to create a thicker look. Do the same with the other half of your head and then, if you want to, spice up your look with some easy and fast curls on the side of your face!

So after all that and you think your bad hair day is going to last forever then this is the ultimate for all that think it’s a bad hair day.

Well it was just a joke and I trust you enjoyed that. So don’t beat yourself up if your having a bad hair day….just remember Kojak. That’s for those over thirty:-)

How did you overcome a bad hair day of your own? Leave me a comment below.

If there’s no comments below then I’ll take it no one has a bad hair day.
