My Introduction in brief
As it was a bright, sunny afternoon here in the south east of the UK today I thoughts I’d do a brief video in my back garden and show everyone that I’m a human being. I must remember to hold the camera somewhat further from my face. It all was going fine until I turned around and the sun got on the screen which prevented me seeing what was being filmed:-)
As you can see from my bio that my partner, Joan, and I live in the south eatern corner of a county called Essex in the UK. We’re around thirty miles east of London on the north shore of the river Thames. Although Joan has lived here since the eighties I’ve only been here since the mid nineties.
A Brief Bio.
My history as far as occupations are concerned are around fifteen years in the restaurant business and a similar period of time in the real estate business. Since then I’ve been enjoying myself:-) I’m now working from home and have been for some years in the direct sales business and this particular venture I only started earlier this year. It’s through some old friends Tony Rush and John Lavenia that I got involved as they were both in a previous business that I was with.
Joan, who was formally working in the health care industry has now broken out and joined the self employed with her own business working with a company called BodyTalk. She’s loving every minute of it and the time freedom it gives her. It also enables her to assist people with their current health issues.
Currently life is good and we are both doing the things we want to do rather than working some else’s agenda. It can have it’s trials and tribulations but we wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s all part of the evolution that we have new things to learn and skills to adopt if we are going to move forward and not stagnate in yesterdays methods.
I was one of those working a home-based business that meant hammering the phones for hours on end day after day. Previously I’ve had experience with a retail company that was more or less a full time job with very little return either financially or personal satisfaction. Well it didn’t appeal to me after several years of involvement. Things are better nowadays and with the widespread use of the Internet it’s now perfectly possible to generate an income and save on the phone-bill:-)
So learning all the time and taking advantage of some more experienced marketeers than myself on the way to the top. Beats listening to people who whinge and moan about everything under the sun. Well that was brief wasn’t it!!
Welcome to 2013
