Have you ever thought about how your ideal average day would look like?
Today I want to share with you the formula that will help you to plan your ideal average day.
To start this be ready to write down what I will tell you… only 1 or 2% ever writes down their goals and dreams.
The Formula is this:
E + I = L
E= Experiences.
If you think about it, experiences are everything. If you read
The Top 5 Regrets Of The Dying you will see that in some way all of them have something to do with experiences.
It’s very easy to want a lot of material things, which is ok… but at the end of the days, what will really matter is how you lived, who you shared your life with, what you did…
Did you live? Did you love?
I is for Identity. Who is the REAL you?
We are not talking about the person other people want to see, or the person you are comparing with… but the real you.
L is for LIFE. Life is the combination of Experiences and your Identity.
If you had 50 more years to live…
How would you CHOOSE to live them?
Your life is made of individual days.
Now start writing down and answer the following questions.
How do your life look if you had your ideal average day?
If there were no limitations, no money issues, no consequences…..
what would your ideal average day look like?
Start thinking about the things you would have to have.
For example…
My husband loves to climb. I love to travel (he does too)…
So what are the limitations?
Finances: We have to have a budget for traveling, all expenses, for my husband, our son and myself.
Geographically: WHERE can we go that it’s a great place to climb?
Health: Of course for anything we have to be healthy, eat the right things and exercise.
Then you can think how many people are supporting your decision…
(Sometimes you have to do the things even if many people don’t understand…)
Think about your Ideal Average Day… NOT a perfect day… ideal average only.
What could you do on a daily basis without getting bored?
For example, for my husband it would be maybe climbing a couple of hours in the morning, and if the weather is good, he could try again in the afternoon.
Now…
where would you live (geographically)?
A place where you can live your passion. Where you can be YOURSELF.
What would your house look like? How many bedrooms it would have?
What do you see when you wake up? what’s the view?
What time would you wake up in the morning?
Do you have to set an alarm? Do you sleep in?
What would you do in the morning? what would it would look like?
Do you go for a run? To the gym? Yoga class?
What would you have for breakfast?
Would you eat in your house? in bed?
And what would you have for lunch? where?
who would you be eating with?
Think about your friends…
What would your friends be like?
What would you talk about?
What would your conversations be if you are with like minded people?
What kind of books would you read?
What would you be feeding your mind with?
What hours would you work? How many hours a day?
What would you be doing? What would your business be?
Would you be just making money or would you be doing something that you LOVE to do?
How are your business partners? who do you want to work with?
What does your relationship look like? what about your family?
If you have kids… Are you there when they are going to bed?
Or you are still working?
What would you do for family time?
What are you thinking about when you are going to bed?
Are you stressed out? are you relaxed? are you grateful?
Write everything down.
what is your ideal average day?
You need to have a vision.
And think… how can I start now to live my ideal average day?
What additional things do I need to do what I want?
What kind of work can I do that moves with me, anywhere I am.
What we are doing is working from anywhere we are, we only need a computer and internet connection.
Actually I write on my blog… this one.
I tell others… and boom!
I make money...
