Hippies do it better (and how to make things easier)

As you float around the blogosphere, especially within the network marketing niche, you are most definitely going to come across information about peak performance and mainting focus and all of that jazz..
.. and if I am honest..
It can get a little boring.
But now and again you stumble onto some stuff that really floats your boat and makes sense to you…
Now, just for a start and before you switch off, I am not really the hippy type but I have been trialling something which is giving me some great results.
First off I want to tell you why I was looking at this information, or at least for it – I used to be a heavy recreational drug user, more on the chemical side than the natural side, drank an awful lot and smoked. Over the last 8 years or so I have quit all of those activities, last being smoking which I gave up just over a year ago. I used to use drugs and alcohol to combat fatrigue and feeling low.In hindsight they are as much of the cause as the cure which makes it simple to understand how easy it is to get yourself on a downward spiral
Anyway, enough about all that and on to what I wanted to share with you about energy levels, increasing your general sense of well being and making things seem easier.
As I am starting to learn, the downward spiral that you can get on when you fill your body with inappropriate substances can be mirrored, if you fill yourself with good substances.
A few months ago I got really into diet, didn’t do anything major apart from try to eat less meat and eat healthier.. and yes, that made me feel less bloated and a little fitter.
But what I have been doing since then blows all that out of the water
In the last 10 days I have not drunk caffeine and followed a vegan diet.
Effin Hippy I know
But I tell you, it works.
You will feel less bloated to start (after a few days), your mindset is going to become far more positive (making everything that you need to do seem easier) and you are going to feel like you are losing weight (I say feel like you are losing weight as I am a bloke and do not have scales in which to verify that lol)
Hit the fruit smoothies in the morning is a good place to start.
Stuff as much fruit down your neck as you can and keep nuts and seeds to a minimum.
Within the first 2 days my skin felt amazing and started to clear up (not that I had terrible acne but it was there)
Some ideas for you
- Buy yourself some fruit smoothies. Try to get ones that are all fruit and nothing else and drink at least 750ml for breakfast (after you have drunk 750ml of water right on waking up)
- Stay away from coffee, milk and meat (it is surprisingly easier that you might originally think)
- Eat veggies and rice for dinner and as much as you want (that goes for fruit too, stuff it into you!) (a little tip here that I’m loving is find the most natural ‘instant’ vegetable stock that you can and pour it over your rice and veg so it is like a soup. Makes the flavour fuller and also hydrates you more)
- No cakes obviously
- If you do want something sweet and ‘heavy’ eat a bowl of bran flakes covered in hazlenut milk, it is amazing! (Almond milk will do aswell, the brand over here in the UK make both and they are really sweet)
Just keep it up for a few days and you will start feeling amazing…
Seriously give it a go, see what happens and share your results below!
Love you all
Oh yeah and I forget to mention about a book that Brendon Burchard is giving away for free (just got to pay the shipping) about peak performance etc see if there are any copies left here
