Dipped Pretzels are a delicious and nourishing snack that you can indulge in that won’t make you feel like you are repressing yourself in taste or calories. In the microwave, melt roughly a half cup of semi sweet chocolate. It will take between one and a half and two minutes and see to it that you stir it up extremely well before trying to use it. Dip pretzels that are low in salt in the chocolate to coat them and then lay them in a single layer on parchment paper. Allow the pretzels to cool at room temperature or stick them in the fridge for approximately 20 minutes.
Yummy Tortilla Chips are something that, without question, you can put together on your own at home. When you buy tortilla chips at the grocery store, the chips are very much coated in salt and are extremely unhealthy. For this yummy recipe, you’ll use corn tortillas to make your own chips. Slice roughly ten corn tortillas in 6 parts. Put all of those pieces on to a baking sheet and then spritz them with a spray that you can make from canola oil, chili powder, cumin and table salt. Coat the tortilla pieces completely and then bake them in an oven at 350 degrees for abut 15 minutes. Give the chips time to cool off before consuming them.
Prepare your very own caramel corn! You may think that there is no way that caramel corn can be great for you as it is rich in sugar and calories. Check out this healthy buy yummy recipe instead. Use a large pot and melt two tablespoons of butter at the bottom of it and then stir in two tablespoons of brown sugar, a tablespoon of water and 1.4 teaspoon of kosher salt. Try to use a whisk to combine all the ingredients and then dump seven cups of air popped popcorn into the pot. If you like, you can even stir in some lightly salted peanuts if that’s your thing. Blend everything together until the popcorn (and nuts if you added them) are well coated and then let the whole lot cool before you try eating it.
If you don’t mind doing a bit of research, you can find lots of snack recipes that are nutritious and good for you and that also have not so many calories or bad ingredients. There are a lot of great tasting choices for nourishing snacks available. You just need to be patient enough to find them and make them for yourself. Being healthy and fit doesn’t need to be tough. You have the ability to do it!
