I wanted to share a little story of a couple
I met two weeks ago in Atlanta, when I was
hanging out with Tracey Walker and the ATL
Empower crew.
I decided, at the very last minute, to do a
last minute Empower mastermind meeting.
(with like 36 hours notice lol)
As I was talking at the front of the room,
I thought to do something that’s always fun
and fascinating.
I asked the crowd who drove the farthest to
get to the meeting.
Hands went up, and folks began to spout
out where they came from….
“North Carolina”
“Florida”
“Alabama” (bad ass Tony Rush came out)
And then…..
….from the front row, sitting right in front of me….
I heard….
“Washington DC”
I was like, “WHAT?”
“Really?”
The conviction in their eyes told the story.
And hands down…
….without any argument, they took the cake.
They went on to tell their story to 150 people
on the edge of their seats.
They said…..
“We heard about the meeting Dave was doing
yesterday, and knew we had to be there. So we
hopped in the car and came.”
The audience roared.
It was super inspiring.
One of those moments the hair raised up
on the back of your neck.
(remember, they only had 36 hours notice)
After the meeting, the hour long photo
session (you know how networkers are lol),
and dinner with the crew at a local taco
joint….
….I asked Dave and Alisha if they wanted
to come back to my suite and shoot a quick
video they could use for some marketing.

After I Shot the video, Alisha was like…
“Damn! That was bad ass. Thank you, thank
you…”
But I was like….
“No. You’re bad ass. Thank you.”
See, that kind of heart is what it takes to
make it happen in life.
That’s what separates the winners….
…..from the forgotten.
That’s what makes you rich….
….or keeps you poor.
Cool thing is:
We have thousands of people JUST
LIKE THAT in Empower Network.
From all walks of life…in 170 different
countries.
Next week, in Atlanta, we’ll have 1,500
of those bad asses all on one room.
With one mission.
To go faster.
Look cooler.
And grow bigger.
And we will.
And let’s show the world….
And all the people who doubted us….
And all the those who are betting against us….
Who.
We.
Are.
Let’s do this.
