One of the oldest motor factors in Arklow is AD Arklow, Noble & Stevens, a business originally set up over 40 years ago by 2 partners, it was originally set up to specialise in repair of starter motors and altenators and this type of business continues today although the repairs is now only a small part of the business which includes welding equipment, commercial spare parts, car accessories and everything else normally associated with a motor factors.

Another long established Motor Factors, Arklow is Tommy Hylands in the lower main street, a business also established over 40 years ago and continuing a family tradition with a sister shop in Gorey.
