I’m trying to free your mind, Neo. But I can only show you the door. You’re the one that has to walk through it. ~Morpheus

Sooner or later you’re going to realize just as I did that there’s a difference between knowing the path and walking the path.

This is a line from the movie The Matrix and is very true to life. It is one thing to know that you have no limits and it’s another to push them to get what you want.

We are capable of so much more than what we currently are or do. I say that as humble as I possibly can because I fall in that category as well.

When you come to the realization that we are in a thought universe, what will you do with that information? Will you began to think yourself up a new, exciting and prosperous future or will you continue to take life as it comes? Will you put it to the test and strengthen your believe one thought at a time or will you think according to what is going on around you while you quietly suffer?

Those are questions I have found myself asking others and more importantly myself. I am learning, like the quote states above, there’s a difference between knowing the path and walking the path. That statement carries a couple of lessons for me.

  1. You can know what to do and believe or convince yourself that you are not capable. We believe the lies that others have told us about our abilities or capacity of understanding. Although that lack of understanding and belief in us can come from close friends and family, the lies that hurt us the most are the ones we tell ourselves.Know enough to know that even if you do not possess the knowledge or skill set to get it done today that you will learn what it is that you need to learn to get it done.
  2. You may not walk the path because no one before you has done it or you simply choose not to do it.  Not doing it can be for a number of different reasons such as, fear, uncertainty, lack of skill, doubt, laziness – to much work, worrying what others have to say about it or past failures.Walk the path until the next next step is revealed.  Learn as you go and make the necessary adjustments along the way.

The key to freeing your mind, seeing the door, walking through it and walking the path is belief. You must discover the possibilities, evaluate your resources, model the successful, start from where you are and take action. You will not know everything there is to know to get the job done but you will know enough to get you to the next step. Every step counts no matter how small as long as it’s forward.

The Inner Circle subscription will seat you at the round table of those who have gone before you and paved the way to your success. You will hear all the secrets of why you too can succeed and dispel all the excuses of why you think you can’t. The Inner Circle will be your invisible council or in this case (blog post) your Oracle.
