9 Ways To Increase Engagement From Your Facebook Photos

Today’s blog post is about how you can increase engagement from your Facebook Photos … pics are one of the # 1 involvement tools for Facebook so knowing how you can get the most from them is pretty important. Which Facebook post styles work best for your Facebook Page: Text, Image, Links? Leave a comment and let me know, OK? Read on… =)

Facebook photos are more than pics. They are chances to engage your spectators, build a more desirable brand and connect with your subscribers. Images evoke substantial emotions, because they stimulate more than just the visual cortex. That’s why they’re apart of every effective social media campaign. Getting a reply from your viewers about your Facebook photos is like getting a high five for all your hard work. Thankfully, you can get more virtual high fives by using just one of these 9 simple strategies with your Facebook photos.

1. Just Come Out And Ask For The LIKE

Simply inquire about likes. You have seen Facebook posts like these. They have an engaging picture that actually asks you to “LIKE” the photo. If you like the photo, it’s the equivalent of a thumbs-up. A share is like a hundred dollar bill! When you request shares or likes you will receive them. Your customers will let you know exactly how much they appreciate the photo and caption.

2. Be Funny

Have a little fun with your Facebook images. For example, you can use holidays to post funny captions to make people laugh. I like to post pictures of animals doing silly things and then I add a funny caption along with it. You’d be surprised how well Facebook viewers will respond. You can bring a smile to the face of viewers pretty much everywhere.

3. Run Contests

Can’t think of a caption for your image? Ask your spectators. Decide on your favorite and reward the winner with a small gift of your appreciation. These might be coupons, gift cards or product samplings.

4. Use Coupons

Coupons are great as incentives, but you could also offer coupons to the first ten people that comment on your pictures. This will instantly gain your business a viewers and exposure on coupon blogs.

5. Get Involved

When your subscribers comment on your photos, react to them. You could simply write “Thanks for the comment” or “I hear you.” Your reply created a connection with the commenter and those who read it. It shows someone on the other side of the computers listened and saw the comment to them. Leads know their words mattered.

Facebook engagement is more than just posting stuff on a page…

6. Get Your Facebook Audience Involved

Use fun tactics like Fill In the Blanks, scavenger hunt with a clues to your next product lunch in a series of photos or other games. Bring back the childhood memories and competitive nature of your fans. Harness them and get your viewers involved with your brand.

7. Reference Current Events

Current events are a great way to connect your brand to your viewer’s world. The pictures can be coy takes on the presidential elections, featuring your products. Frito-Lays did this during in 2012 with their potato chips. Oreo carried this out during the Blackout in the 2013 Super Bowl Game. The captions and pics can reference notable events without your products, too. This brings your brand relativity.

8. Pose a Question

Questions are a guaranteed way to captivate your spectators with your Facebook pictures. You can ask about how the audience likes your products, ask them to share their stories and even ask non-relevant questions. As long as they relate to your photos, any tasteful questioning is fair play. Just be ready to reply to all the answers.

9. Be More Than Just A Photo

Your Facebook fanpage is all over the internet and not in a specific place, so you can be personable by sharing where you live, where you go, and who you are – instead of just an online business with a Facebook page. Your audience wants to know more about your business than just your image. Your pics are just a part what the audience wants to see. You can use your Facebook page to make this happen, be real, be yourself.

As long as you captivate your spectators in some way, your viewers will hear and connect with your business. Ultimately, that’s precisely what you want them to do, but your business has to be the party that puts out the hand of friendship. Stimulate them to connect with the brand, business and the people behind the scene. The involvement on your Facebook page will soar when they do.
