Serrada Escrima Has Many Players In Germany
When I moved to Germany back in 1990 I had no idea that Serrada Escrima would 
blossom as it has. At first glance in a Bu do magazine you would see so many adds for Wing Tsun that one might think that was the only thing going on in Germany at the time. Yet after meeting quite a few remarkable martial artists I was able to see what Germany Had to offer in the form of Filipino Martial Arts. I believe it was Grandmaster Anthony Davis that was the first student of Grandmaster Angel Cabales to spread Serrada Escrima in Germany, with a strong following in Berlin. And his students were and still are excellent Serrada Escrima players. But not only that there is a comradery within the Serrada Escrima circles that is so welcoming to Serrada Escrima players where instructors and students can exchange techniques freely with one another no matter which Serrada Escrima teacher they follow.
DAV Brings Serrada Escrima Master Mike Inay
Now this was great to have other Filipino Martial Arts groups bring in Serrada Escrima Master Mike Inay one of leaders that helped Grandmaster Angel Cabales in the early days with the emergence of Serrada Escrima in the US. It was such a pleasure to bet able to train with such a knowledgeable Serrada Escrima Master. Just the openness and freedom to exchange ideas with others while exposing Serrada Escrima to the German Filipino martial artist was inspiring. Master Jimmy Tacosa also has a regular Serrada Escrima following in Germany based in Munich and tours to Germany frequently. While I was in Germany I had the pleasure of teaching Serrada Escrima seminars in various Germany cites Berlin, Munich, Hanover Kassel, and Darmstadt on a regular basis as well as my small group in Edermunde. A wonderful thing being able to pass on Grandmaster Angel Cabales’ art of Serrada Escrima.
Serrada Escrima Masters Teach In Germany Often
It was back in 1997 that I met Master JC Cabiero teaching A Serrada Escrima seminar in 
Berlin, that was a blessing for me as I have continued to train with him over the last 14 years. Master JC Cabiero has a strong following of Serrada Escrima students in Germany. As well as Grandmaster Vincent Cabales who is always traveling and promoting Serrada Escrima. It is so mind blowing to see just how many people in Germany have been exposed to Grandmaster Angel Cabales’ Serrada Escrima. Master Mark Wiley has also flown over to Germany to promote Serrada Escrima as well as his own blend of Filipino Martial Arts. It is really impressive how this highly effective Filipino Martial has been able to travel from the Philippines to the States and into Europe in such a short time. The once hidden art of the Filipino Warrior is getting rave reviews and world wide exposure through the diligence of Serrada Escrima Masters spreading The Art of Grandmaster Angel Cabales and his Serrada Escrima.
