Lindsay Lohan Faces New Criminal Charges

According to Los Angeles CNN, singer-actress Lindsay Lohan is once again charged with new criminal records in California, and these charges were said to be filed in a just a few hours after another criminal charge she had in New York associated with a suspected brawl early in the morning in a particular night club.
Because of these new charges, there is a possibility that Lohan could be arrested and sent back behind bars given that she is still on probation as she was convicted with necklace theft.
Lohan had been in the hands of the criminal courts system and had been struggling with alcohol and drug addictions, thus subjecting her to the court 19 times and had her admitted in five rehab facilities for 250 days as a whole ever since the year 2007 on the month of January.
According to the New York Police Department, Lohan, who is 26 years old, was captured by the police at a nightclub in Manhattan because of a suspected brawl at 4 in the morning. The police stated that Lohan was alleged to hit a woman at the Avenue Lounge; however, the police did not mention anything about the criminal charges she would have to face.
Lohan’s lawyer in New York, Mark Heller said in an interview that Lohan is just a victim of a person who wants to have their 15 minute share of fame. Her lawyer said that according to his first investigation, he is confident that this case will favor Lohan and will be acquitted immediately.
Due to the consecutive cases of Lindsay Lohan, the “Liz and Dick” producer found it risky to hire Lohan. In Santa Monica, California, the city attorney has filed four criminal charges on Lohan in the morning of Thursday associated with a car crash. She is suspected to have given misleading information to the authorities, resisting a police officer while he is doing his duty and driving irresponsibly; that is according to the city’s attorney’s office.
All these criminal charges are delinquencies and jail time is not enough, the LA city attorney who sued the actress for the necklace theft in 2011 could request the judge to rescind the probation.
The LA city attorney’s decision on the case will be given on Friday. It would take many days prior to the prosecutor’s decision and confirmation on Lindsay Lohan’s New York arrest, but the Santa Monica cases she had on Thursday should arrive at the LA city prosecutor’s office sooner.
The decision making time on finding cancellation of the probation given to Lohan for her shoplifting case relies on the workload in the office of the attorney.
The charges from Santa Monica is due to the car crash that occurred last June as Lohan was driving towards the set of “Liz and Dick” filming, the Lifetime movie that was on air last week. She was suspected to lie to the police that it was her assistant who was behind wheels, but according to witnesses, it was Lohan who was driving.
