Focus On The Task At Hand

Restored from the Empower Network archive (2011–2017), lightly edited to meet our current advertising standards. Views are the original author’s.

I believe Ghandi said this, or something similar.

Our lives are defined by the moments that

we are DOING something. Taking action.

Things at rest, tend to stay at rest.

Focusing on exactly what you are doing,

right here, when the time is now, will have

drastic consequences.

What happens, when a ship sails 1 degree of course,

over the course of thousands of miles?

You’ll probably be a continent away.

Sometimes, you might get distracted along

the way. That’s okay though, it COULD happen

to the best of us.

Which is why, if you want to accomplish anything,

you need to focus on what result you want, from

the actions that you are doing.

If you want to become an amateur at a sport,

or even a professional, you must focus on

each component of the sport, every second.

Victories are won by INCHES and SECONDS.

Think championship, in every rep, in every push.

Don’t just have get a ‘second wind’ of energy,

get 10 ‘second winds’ 10 times if you need to.

There is a point, where yes, you have done

all you could do for that day.

It is okay, to reward yourself for your accomplishments.

That is actually one thing that I had failed to

do for so many years.

As soon as I achieved something, even if it was something

that less than 0.01% of people every do, I brush it aside.

Not in the sense that, I am not honorable, but in the sense

that okay, I did this, now I need to accomplish more.

I need to go bigger, go greater.

My masterminds have gotten intense.

Imagine, speaking with someone that

has lived and done things that you

have only dreamed of?

Imagine, if now, that turned around, and

you were the one sharing your stories,

of traveling the world and visiting exotic

beaches around the globe.

How would you get to someone, that had

no hope, that had no success story, that

literally needs to be told what to do, but

not like a minion, but as a leader.

Leaders are not born, they are created.

You can learn the ways, to attract positive

things in your life.

Karma, does come around.

And its for the best.

Sometimes, the universe has to nudge you.

Sometimes, your friend needs to be blunt.

Sometimes, you’re greater than you think you are.

So once again. Focus.

Lean in and concentrate.

What is it you want? Why do you want it?

And how can you share something positive

in return for getting what you want?

What will you do for society?

Will you lead with valor, backed by

honorable merits?

Will you give back to your community?

Will you, listen to the little guy, whos

frustrated and struggling? I do.

I was that guy. I needed someone to

listen to me. And I got what I wanted.

I room full of thousands of people.

Sharing some of my most struggling

moments in life, which took a burden

off my shoulders like you couldn’t believe.

I was free, to live out my own destiny.

I was no longer restricted, tormented,

by negative influences.

Procrastination ended instantly.

When I decided that to happen.

Live your live, how you decide.

I am sure, that you will feel better.

Truth of the matter is, you are

either getting your way in life, or

you are not.

How did I get my way in life?

See you in the club,

Scott

P.S. Focus on greatness. Do not settle for less anymore.
